One of the neatest things about the cyberwebs is that you can research and learn so much more, so much faster. Not too long ago, the only way you could learn about someone was to pick up a physical book or magazine or watch television, but as reporters of the crochet world have emerged, and the cyberwebs have become more manageable, bloggers and writers can bring more info to you faster- more crochet, more crochet stuff, about more crochet people and crocheted things.
Enter Kathryn Vercillo who showcases many aspects of crochet from collections of works to art and even a bit of fiber history. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit her site, you absolutely must! You will get lost in the variety and inspiration found there. Below is a favorite roundup of mine from her site- 100 Skirt Crochet Patterns and Eye Candy.
About the interview compilation, Kathryn says, “If you enjoy learning about crochet straight from the mouths of designers and makers then these interviews should interest you. Some are links to podcast interviews (by folks like Marly Bird) and others are written interviews (like those from my favorite interviewer, Underground Crafter).”
